Following the “Suit Up” promo video released online just the other day, Empire Magazine has given us a brand new look at the assembled team of DC heroes.
Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman all pose in fighting form on the cover of the October issue, ready to serve up a heaping plate of — dare I say? — justice.
Interviews with both Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot appear in the issue, with Gadot expressing her thoughts on how JL differs from last year’s poorly received Batman v Superman:
Justice League is not a dark or heavy movie. It doesn’t have the weight that Batman v Superman had.
The Dark Knight also pitched in his thoughts on the DC ensemble, mostly commemorating director Zack Snyder’s apt ability to deliver exuberant visual eye candy:
The movie’s bigger in scale than any movie I’ve been involved with in my career. It feels massive in terms of the visual elements. That’s something that Zack is really good at. That will be admired.
We’ll soon find out for ourselves, considering the film’s world premiere is less than just two months away now.
You can find the full cover image below, along with a high-res photo of both an unmasked Batman and Wonder Woman seemingly pondering over the mission ahead. Alfred can be spotted in the background, peeking over what looks like a computer monitor in true eavesdropping-Alf fashion.
The Empire issue hits shelves this Thursday, with Justice League landing in theaters on November 17.
