A new behind-the-scenes video of the superhero ensemble has debuted online, a promo titled “Suit Up” that features each of the League members — well — suited up. You can watch the video below and feel the tingle between your legs as the hype flows through you.
Rounding out the metahuman team is Ben Affleck as the Dark Knight himself (and only non-meta member of the group), Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. Justice League will feature the return of several familiar faces, as well as introduce a few new characters, some of which will be extremely recognizable to avid comic-book fans. Among these are Jesse Eisenberg who returns as the eccentric Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Billy Crudup as Henry Allen, Amber Heard as Mera, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, and J.K. Simmons filling out the roster as Gotham’s police commissioner, Jim Gordon.
Partly inspired by 1954’s Japanese Adventure/Drama Seven Samurai, Justice League sees a morally-restored Bruce Wayne (thanks to Superman’s selfless act in BvS) enlist the help of Diana Prince AKA Wonder Woman, to seek out a team of fantastically gifted heroes who can oppose an imminent threat that spells doom for the whole world. In other words — it’s just another leisurely day in the DC Universe.
Director Zack Snyder and Chris Terrio wrote the story for the film, the latter of which shares a screenplay credit with Joss Whedon (The Avengers). Following a tragedy within the Snyder family, Whedon was brought on board to direct additional photography for the film, overseeing the completion of its post-production. Whedon will only receive a writing credit for his efforts.
Justice League opens in theaters next month on November 17.
